I. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Natural dried apples are prepared from sound, mature, fresh fruit which has been washed, cored, peeled, cut to desired size, and tunnel-dried. The product is inspected throughout the process to assure conformance to good manufacturing practices, yielding a clean, wholesome product which meets all standards for human consumption, including compliance with provisions of the Federal regulations.
II. PHYSICAL

Color: beige to light brown characteristic of un-sulfured dried apples.

Flavor: sweet to tart, typical of the variety, and free from off flavors.

Defects: reasonably free of defects as defined by the Dried Fruit Association (DFA) of California standards for choice dried apples.

Sizes: available in the style of rings (choice), diced (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2") and paste (1/8" and 3/32" grinds)

III. CHEMICAL

Moisture: 17-21% for rings and dices, and 17-23% for paste as determined by DFA moisture meter.

VI. STORAGE/SHELF LIFE
| This product is best stored in cool, 40-50°F or less, dry (50-60% RH) conditions and should be used within 6 months for optimal quality. Store at 32°F or less for prolonged shelf life.

| This product is certified as kosher pareve for Passover by the Orthodox Union *OU

VIII. NON-GMO STATEMENT
| This product is 100% free from genetically modified organisms.
