I. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
California Dried Nectarines
are prepared from sound, mature fresh nectarines which have been washed, cut, pitted, sulfured, and sun dried. The product is inspected throughout the process to assure conformance to good manufacturing practices, yielding a clean, wholesome product which meets all standards for human consumption, including compliance with provisions of the Federal regulations.
II. PHYSICAL

Color: yellow-orange, with hints of light red, reasonably uniform and characteristic of the variety.
|

|
Flavor: sweet to tart, typical of the variety, and free from off flavors.
|
| C.
|
Defects: reasonably free of defects as defined by the Dried Fruit Association (DFA) of California standards for dried nectarines.
|
| D.
|
Sizes: available in the style of halves (standard, choice, extra-choice, fancy, extra-fancy and jumbo as defined by the DFA standards), varigrade as per sample, dices (1/2" and 1/4") and paste (3/32" and 1/8" grinds). It is also available in double-diced size i.e. diced twice using 1/4" dice plates.

Moisture: 26-32% for halves, 22-26% for dices, and 26-34% for paste as determined by DFA moisture meter.

VI. STORAGE/SHELF LIFE
| This product is best stored in cool (40-50°F), dry (50-60% RH) conditions, and should be used within 12 months for optimal quality. Store at 32°F or less for prolonged shelf life.

| This product is certified as kosher pareve for Passover by the Orthodox Union *OU

VIII. NON-GMO STATEMENT
| This product is 100% free from genetically modified organisms.

IX. MSDS STATEMENT
| This product is a food ingredient manufactured in compliance with FDA and other regulations. It does not contain any hazardous substances or preparations, and as such does not require a material safety data sheet.
