50th Anniversary of Nicaso and Maria Zoria (center, second row) with their family.
Circa 1952
As a farming family, the Zorias worked very hard to produce some of the Santa Clara Valley's best cherries, apricots, prunes and walnuts.
As the Zoria children married and had their own children, the Zoria family grew. Grandpa and Grandma Zoria loved to have their entire family at their table each Sunday for a dish of pasta. That meant carrying in tables and benches to seat everyone. So sons Joseph, Cy and John built
a separate room to house a long table where the entire family could fit comfortably. Not only did the family gather there every Sunday, but they also worked side by side every day during the summer to harvest and dry the fruit.
John Zoria, son of Joseph and grandson of Nicasio Zoria.
John Zoria now serves as president and CEO of the family business with his wife Nina as secretary treasurer of the corporation.
